Payday Loan
A payday loan is not something that has always been available. However, getting a payday loan is becoming more and more popular. During these times of economic distress, people need to be able to stay on top of their bills. Getting a payday loan may help them with this. In fact, a payday loan might be the difference between losing your livelihood and continuing your way of life.
You might think that it getting a payday loan is expensive because of the interest that’s charged to get one. While it can be expensive, there are benefits to getting a payday loan. In fact, I will go as far as to say that the cost of not getting a payday loan far exceeds the cost of actually obtaining one.
Let me give you a hypothetical example of when a payday loan is needed:
Let’s say you get paid once per month. Let’s also say that you have rent due at the beginning of the month. In this hypothetical scenario, your payday happens 1 week before you have to pay rent. On your way home from work, your car breaks down, for whatever reason.
You need your car to get to work, and you need your car to go various places like the doctor, grocery store, etc. If you don’t get your car fixed, you will be in a lot of trouble. Therefore, you have to use some of your carefully budgeted money for something you didn’t plan on. You absolutely must fix your car.
Now, you are in a position where your payday money is no longer enough for rent coming up in a week. You had the choice between not being able to get anywhere you need or getting kicked out of the place you’re living. This is when you have to bite the bullet by getting a dreaded payday loan.
Sure, getting a payday loan will cost you extra money. I won’t lie by saying it doesn’t hurt. It does. However, in this hypothetical scenario, your payday loan will allow you keep living your life. A payday loan will have saved your life, in a way. You will have your car working to get to work, you can go buy food, you can get medical treatment, and you can pay rent on time. Not being able to do those things would be much more painful than paying some extra money to a loan company. You might have to cut back on other things you enjoy for a month, but you will now be in a good position to keep living your life.
I don’t think my hypothetical payday loan scenario is farfetched. I, and many people I know, have been in similar situations. I’ve had to make the choice between losing everything and paying a nasty fee. You could say that payday loan companies bank on people’s misfortunes. While this isn’t far from the truth, this has proven to be quite a valuable service.
I’m not ashamed to have gotten a payday loan because it has allowed me to have a place to live, given me food to eat, and a way to continue work.
